ZIQUAN GROUP, leveraging its professional expertise and financial strength in the international energy engineering field, will provide comprehensive support for the project. This powerful collaboration aims to build an efficient, environmentally friendly, and reliable modern coal-fired power plant.

The project will employ advanced clean coal technology to ensure stable power output while minimizing environmental impact, complying with international environmental standards. Upon completion, it will not only alleviate Zambia's current power shortage but also create numerous job opportunities and stimulate the development of related industrial chains.

Industry analysts note that the signing of this contract will have a profound impact on Zambia's energy landscape. The power plant will become a vital component of Zambia's diversified energy structure, enhancing national energy security, reducing over-reliance on traditional hydropower, and injecting strong momentum into industrialization and economic growth.

It is reported that the project is expected to commence construction formally in November 2025, with the first 150MW unit scheduled for commercial operation by the end of 2026. Once fully completed, the entire project will become a crucial power supply base for Zambia, providing solid support for the country's 2030 Energy Development Strategic Goals.
